On October 10, the 2023 Yunnan Foreign Aid Project "Training Course for Improving Security Capabilities of Developing Countries" opened at the Wuwei Security Training Base in Kunming, Yunnan.

It is understood that this training course hosted by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Commerce and undertaken by Yunnan Wuwei Security Service Co., Ltd. aims to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between security companies in Yunnan and neighboring countries, promote Yunnan security companies to "go global", and enhance Yunnan companies Overseas security capabilities. Twenty-one trainees from Laos and Myanmar will take part in six courses, such as the theoretical introduction of China's security standards, the visit and study of airport and railway security standards, the observation and teaching of intelligent security system, the experience and practice of unmanned aerial vehicle operation and use, the demonstration and observation of general security equipment operation and use, and the field research of regional security setting and management, strive to improve the comprehensive quality and ability of the trainees in terms of professional standards, technical means, and system norms in the security industry through theoretical teaching, visits, and practical operations.

"In recent years, with the accelerated construction of the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor and the China-Laos Economic Corridor, there are more and more opportunities for cooperation between China, Myanmar and Laos, and there is more and more room for cooperation. We hope to strengthen communication and exchanges between security enterprises of the three countries and establish cooperation mechanisms to jointly benefit the people of the three countries". The relevant person in charge of the Foreign Economic Cooperation Department of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Commerce said.
Heads of relevant departments such as the Foreign Economic Cooperation Division of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Commerce, the Security Work Guidance Division of the Public Security Management Corps of the Yunnan Provincial Public Security Department, and relevant persons in charge of the security departments of Laos and Myanmar attended the opening ceremony.
