Eliminate gun violence safety hazards and strengthen the security defense line

To further promote the in-depth development of the special action against gun and explosive crimes in Kunming, the Kunming Public Security Bureau has launched a public display and promotion campaign themed "Completely Eliminate Gun and Explosive Safety Hazards, Quickly Initiate a New Wave of Crackdown and Seizure" from November 22 to December 21 across the city. Kunming Security Group's Guard Company (hereinafter referred to as the "Guard Company"), as a gun-related enterprise, actively participated in this event, firmly establishing a safety management line for firearms and ammunition.
On the afternoon of November 22, the Guard Company organized more than 20 party members, cadres, and employee representatives to attend the first day of the themed promotional event "Completely Eliminate Gun and Explosive Safety Hazards, Quickly Initiate a New Wave of Crackdown and Seizure" located on Nanping Street. They attentively listened to Kunming police officers explain the policies and regulations related to firearms, ammunition, explosives, imitation guns, and controlled knives, and visited the various illegal firearms displayed on site. Through case-based legal education and typical case studies, they deeply recognized the dangers of privately storing gun and explosive items to society, family, and themselves, as well as the legal responsibilities and consequences they need to bear. This themed promotional event further enhanced their awareness of resisting illegal gun and explosive items and their legal consciousness and safety awareness.
Eliminating gun and explosive hazards is everyone's responsibility. Next, the Guard Company will widely promote relevant laws and regulations concerning guns and explosives within the company, further solidify the responsibility for firearms and ammunition safety management, conduct comprehensive inspections and rectifications, implement strict safety precautions, and resolutely prevent incidents related to firearms and ammunition. They will collaborate with public security agencies at all levels to fully maintain the ongoing safety and stability of the social situation in the Kunming area.
