On June 27, 2026, a series of skill‑competition events under the Kunming Municipal Government Affairs System’s 2026 post‑training program was held at the municipal administrative center auditorium. The competition spanned the city’s entire government affairs sector, bringing together more than 40 teams and over 200 participants. It featured five distinct competition tracks—security and safeguarding, equipment maintenance, landscaping and cleaning, conference services, and catering services—providing a comprehensive assessment of the professional hands‑on capabilities of the government logistics support workforce.

The Feihu Security team assigned to the municipal administrative center’s security project dispatched more than 20 core personnel to participate in this demonstration of security‑related exercises. Focusing on real‑world operational needs, the team conducted hands‑on drills covering three key modules—formation display, emergency response by the smallest tactical unit, and fire‑fighting emergency procedures—fully showcasing the administrative center’s security force’s rigorous professionalism and high level of emergency‑response capability.

During the drill‑display segment, the team members executed the full set of standard formation movements—attention, ease up, marching in step, and marching at ease—with precise footwork and resounding commands, demonstrating the rigorous standards and disciplined professionalism cultivated through daily training.

During the emergency response exercise for the smallest operational unit, team members simulated an unexpected conflict scenario, responding swiftly and coordinating seamlessly. Employing a three‑person combat formation, they effectively brought the situation under control, fully demonstrating the unit’s rapid response and highly efficient crisis‑management capabilities.

The emergency firefighting event places particular emphasis on assessing team members’ proficiency in operating firefighting equipment. At the command, three team members swiftly and correctly donned their firefighting gear. Two of them then worked in tandem, sequentially executing tasks such as unrolling the hose, connecting the distributor to the fire nozzle, and sprinting into position—demonstrating solid foundational firefighting skills and seamless teamwork.

Throughout the performances in each subject, a judging panel composed of officials from the Security Division of the Kunming Municipal Government Affairs Administration, the Shilonghu Police Station, and the Armed Police Detachment conducted on-site scoring in accordance with standardized evaluation criteria, maintaining real-time records to objectively assess each team’s overall practical combat capabilities. Following the conclusion of the demonstrations, the judging panel presented competition awards to the winning teams, recognizing their outstanding performance on the field.

As the competition drew to a close, Fu Liqun, Deputy Director of the Kunming Municipal Administration of Government Affairs, delivered a concluding address. He commended all security personnel for their diligent preparation in the lead-up to the event and their composed performance on the field. He emphasized that all logistics and security staff should continue to use competitions as opportunities to learn and practice, translating the gains from competitive training into real‑world operational capabilities. He urged them to steadfastly reinforce safety and risk‑prevention measures, ensuring that comprehensive security at the municipal administrative center is maintained to the highest standards and on an ongoing basis.

This skills competition was not only a comprehensive showcase of professional expertise but also a vivid demonstration of team spirit. Moving forward, we will take this event as an opportunity to conduct a thorough review and draw lessons learned, further refine our training mechanisms for security personnel, and translate the practical experience gained in the competition into routine training programs, thereby elevating the overall competence of our security team to a new level.
