The Kunming Security Association earnestly conveyed and studied the spirit of the Fifth Member Representative Assembly of the China Security Association.
On the afternoon of December 6, 2024, the Kunming Security Association held its fifth session of the third council meeting, focusing on conveying and studying the spirit of the fifth member representative conference of the China Security Association. 31 leaders from the council units attended the meeting, which was presided over by President Zhu Junkun of the association.
The meeting focused on conveying and studying the speeches of Deputy Minister Wang Zhizhong and President Du Hangwei of the Ministry of Public Security, as well as the revised documents including the 'Articles of Association of the China Security Association', 'Membership Management Measures of the China Security Association', and 'Management Measures for Branches of the China Security Association'.
The meeting noted that the successful holding of the China Security Association's re-election conference on November 13 is a significant event in the construction of the security industry in China, marking a milestone. It not only points the way for the future development of the security industry but also provides guidelines for security associations at all levels. Participants expressed that they should take the spirit of this meeting as a guide, closely follow the steps of the superior authorities, actively cooperate in deepening the reform of the security industry, and effectively enhance the sense of responsibility and mission in doing the work of the security association, faithfully performing their duties, being courageous in taking responsibility, managing in a standardized manner, and continuously creating a new situation for the work of the security association, striving to make positive contributions to the social security, economic development, and social stability of Kunming, and promoting the high-quality development of the security industry through practical actions.
The meeting emphasized that each member unit should earnestly follow the requirements of the association's notice on November 15, effectively understand, implement, and carry out the spirit of the meeting, focusing on comprehending the speeches of Deputy Minister Wang Zhizhong and President Du Hangwei of the Ministry of Public Security, and transforming them into a strong driving force for promoting the high-quality development of the security industry; accurately grasp the functional positioning of the security industry association, always remember the purpose of serving members, the industry, and the economic and social development, and promote the overall prevention and control of social security in Kunming and the high-quality development of security enterprises; strengthen the awareness of fulfilling legal obligations, actively join industry association organizations, revise and improve the current articles of association, study and formulate the 'Membership Management Measures of the Kunming Security Association', learn from the good experiences and practices of security associations in other provinces (cities), and ensure the solid construction of the association itself; always adhere to the combination of supervision by public security organs and self-discipline of the industry association, further expand and deepen the work mechanism of police and security joint operations between public security organs and industry associations, and solidly carry out annual evaluations of police and security joint operations and credit rating assessments of security enterprises; fully play the role of the association as a bridge and link, lead industry construction with party building, establish and improve party organizations in the industry and enterprises, and solidly promote the research and formulation of industry standards; guide security enterprises to operate in accordance with laws and regulations, focus on standardizing enterprise operation management, participate fairly in security market competition, and refrain from disrupting market prices or damaging the business environment.
The meeting also reviewed and approved the 'Implementation Measures for the Annual Work Awards for Advanced Collectives and Outstanding Individuals of the Kunming Security Association'.
