Kunming Security Association earnestly implements the spirit of the "Lanzhou Conference" of the China Insurance Association
From July 29th to 30th, the China Security Association's Symposium on Technological Empowerment to Promote High-Quality Development of the Security Service Industry and the Second Meeting of the Fifth Standing Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "Lanzhou Meeting") was successfully held in Lanzhou. This meeting sounded the call for the transformation and development of the security service industry in the new era—achieving industry consensus and direction through technological empowerment to break down the barriers of traditional models and using digital transformation to activate the industry's development momentum.
On the morning of August 5th, 2025, Mr. Zhu Junkun, Executive Director of the China Security Association and President of the Kunming Security Association, presided over a special study session of the association's secretariat. The session focused on conveying and studying the spirit of the China Security Association's Symposium on Technological Empowerment to Promote High-Quality Development of the Security Service Industry and the Second Meeting of the Fifth Standing Committee, as well as President Du Hangwei's speech.
The meeting clarified the following: First, President Zhu Junkun will make a special report on the spirit of the China Security Association's "Lanzhou Meeting" to the Kunming Municipal Public Security Bureau; second, actively support the establishment of the Yunnan Provincial Security Association and carry out solid cooperation and coordination work; third, earnestly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instruction on "managing both the industry and Party building," and promptly draft an implementation plan for the establishment of the "Kunming Security Industry Party Committee" and submit it to the Kunming Municipal Public Security Bureau Party Committee for review; fourth, led by Secretary-General Fan Jingwei, the association will promptly draft revisions to the "Kunming Security Association Articles of Association" and the "Kunming Security Industry Self-Discipline Covenant," aiming to submit them to the members' assembly for deliberation before the end of the year; fifth, in accordance with the principle of aligning responsibilities, powers, and interests, actively advocate for the inclusion of all three categories of security personnel units in the city (local security companies, cross-regional operating units, and units that independently recruit security personnel) under the supervision, management, and guidance of the public security organs and the Kunming Security Association.
