Upon on-site verification, the project involves a construction unit conducting inspection and maintenance on the overpass bridge spanning the E’langpu Highway. The inspection boom of the bridge inspection vehicle extends directly above the railway, with a vertical clearance of approximately 8 meters from the catenary system, posing a risk associated with construction equipment. Safety hazards caused by falling onto the railway track that affect train operations 。

Upon receiving the notification, Dong Chonggui, Deputy Director of the Hongguo Track Maintenance Workshop, immediately instructed Hongguo Station to apply for a block on the Weihong Line between Xipu and Hongguo and reported the situation to the Production Dispatch Command Center. Leaders of the section and on-duty personnel from the section’s functional departments promptly arrived at the command center to initiate emergency response procedures, while simultaneously dispatching the Hongguo Track Maintenance Workshop to the scene for inspection and handling. At 11:49, the construction machinery was moved outside the railway clearance limits; following an on-site inspection confirming that all equipment was operating normally, the line was reopened at 11:52.
