Yunnan Zhong’an Security Conducts Specialized Training for Emergency First Aid Personnel
To comprehensively enhance the frontline security personnel’s capabilities in emergency response and crisis management, as well as their self‑rescue and mutual‑assistance skills; to address existing gaps in on‑site emergency handling; to elevate the professional service standards of the security team; and to strengthen the company’s culture of progress and goodwill, Yunnan Zhong’an Security Service Co., Ltd. organized a specialized Red Cross first‑aid training session on May 30, 2026. More than 100 participants attended, including all members of the functional departments and mid‑level and senior managers from branch locations.

First, the Party branch secretary and chairman of the company delivered an opening address. He expounded on the mission, significance, and contemporary value of security work in the new era, identified the current shortcomings in the industry’s emergency first‑aid capabilities, and reaffirmed the training’s original purpose: “to safeguard lives, alleviate suffering, and extend humanitarian care.” He emphasized that security work safeguards local peace, shoulders a profound sense of responsibility, and warms the hearts of the people. As a military‑entrepreneurial enterprise, Zhong’an Security consistently embodies a deeper sense of national commitment, greater social accountability, and a more heartfelt concern for the well‑being of the public. All managerial personnel should seize this training as an opportunity to transcend conventional service‑oriented thinking, regard first‑aid expertise as an essential skill for fulfilling their duties and a core competency in their roles, align their professional competence with the demands of modern security services, and demonstrate Zhong’an’s ethos of progress and goodness through its unwavering humanitarian spirit.

Zhu Bangrui set forth the following requirements for this training session: First, elevate our perspective and reaffirm our original aspirations, shouldering our mission and responsibilities at the deepest level of our thinking. All mid-level cadres must recognize that emergency‑first‑aid training is not merely an ordinary professional development course; it is a political duty rooted in fulfilling our duties, serving the public good, and safeguarding the lives of the people. We must approach this with reverence for life, respect for our profession, and unwavering loyalty to our posts—cherishing every learning opportunity, maintaining a serious and focused attitude, and truly treating training as a responsibility and study as a commitment, thereby solidifying the ideological foundation for serving the people and ensuring their safety. Second, hone our expertise and strengthen our capabilities through diligent study and rigorous practice, thus building robust real‑world skills. I urge everyone to remain focused, maintain a calm and disciplined mindset, listen attentively, engage earnestly in hands‑on exercises, and repeatedly rehearse until you have mastered core techniques such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, hemostasis and wound dressing, emergency response, and the proper use of medical equipment. Strive to internalize theory, develop practical proficiency, and respond with measured decisiveness, ensuring that when the moment of truth arrives, we can step up, apply what we’ve learned, deliver effective assistance, and be fully relied upon. Third, lead by example and pass on knowledge, setting a standard and inspiring collective improvement. All participants must leverage their role as trailblazers, assuming responsibility for demonstrating best practices. Upon completing the training, return to your posts and immerse yourselves in your projects, using what you’ve learned to expand impact from the individual to the broader team, and disseminate professional first‑aid knowledge and standardized rescue skills to every frontline member. Let “everyone understands first aid, everyone can provide assistance, and everyone dares to take responsibility” become the hallmark of the Zhong’an team, comprehensively fortifying the company’s defenses for safety and emergency response. Fourth, uphold our core values and embrace accountability, integrating knowledge with action to embody the spirit of military entrepreneurship. We must always carry forward the discipline and resilience of military service, stay true to our初心 of doing good, and fulfill our social responsibilities. The qualities of loyal dedication, a pragmatic and responsible work ethic, and the compassionate warmth of our enterprise must be deeply embedded in both emergency‑first‑aid operations and routine security services. By consistently applying what we learn to achieve tangible results, stepping forward courageously in times of need, taking bold responsibility in emergencies, and delivering more professional assistance, we will safeguard local peace and security with proven competence and warm humanitarian concern, fully showcasing Yunnan Zhong’an’s image as an industry benchmark and its commitment to meeting the challenges of our era.

Subsequently, the instructor from the Kunming Red Cross Society commended Zhong’an Security for its proactive commitment to social responsibility, its focus on life‑saving first aid, and its efforts to strengthen its workforce. The instructor emphasized that security teams constitute a vital frontline component of urban emergency response; conducting regular first‑aid training and bolstering on‑the‑ground rescue capabilities is not only essential for ensuring workplace safety but also a concrete step toward enhancing public safety and safeguarding the health and well‑being of the community. Moving forward, the Red Cross will continue to empower corporate emergency‑response teams, helping Zhong’an build an emergency‑first‑aid and security force that is professional, operationally effective, and standardized.

Next, instructors from the Kunming Red Cross Society conducted training for all participants. During the theoretical portion, they focused on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), first aid for airway obstruction (Heimlich maneuver), hemorrhage control and wound dressing, fracture immobilization, and casualty transport. Drawing on common emergencies encountered in security work—such as cardiac arrest, heatstroke, falls, and bleeding—they explained first‑aid principles, step‑by‑step procedures, and key precautions in a clear and accessible manner. This helped all trainees strengthen their theoretical knowledge and develop a scientifically sound approach to emergency response.

The hands-on component is the central focus of this training. Using mannequins, AED trainers, bandages, triangular dressings, and other instructional aids, the instructor demonstrated step by step the proper depth and rate of chest compressions, the correct technique for rescue breathing, how to turn on an AED and position the electrode pads, as well as methods for dressing bleeding from different body parts. Following the demonstration, trainees were divided into groups to practice in simulated scenarios, with the instructor providing individualized guidance and corrections to ensure that each participant performed the techniques accurately and with proper technique. The learning atmosphere was highly engaging, with participants repeatedly practicing, exchanging tips, and striving to master every skill with precision, fluency, and practical application.

At the conclusion of the training, the instructor rigorously conducted a dual assessment—both a written theoretical exam and a practical skills evaluation—in strict accordance with the Red Cross first-aid certification standards. All participants approached the examination with seriousness, performed procedures in compliance with established protocols, and answered questions with composure. Drawing on their solid theoretical foundation and proficient practical skills, they successfully passed the assessments, thereby completing this specialized training program to full satisfaction.

Cai Yudi from Division One said after the training, “In the past, when I encountered someone who had fainted or been injured, I would panic and hesitate to act. Today, the instructor provided hands-on instruction in CPR and hemostatic bandaging, and even staged realistic scenarios, which gave me much more confidence. Going forward, if I come across an emergency during patrol, I’ll know exactly how to administer first aid right away, buying precious time for professional medical personnel to arrive. This kind of training is extremely practical, and I hope the company will organize more sessions like this!”

Training has an end, but responsibility knows no bounds. This specialized Red Cross emergency first‑aid training is a key component of the company’s annual “Safety Capability Enhancement Program” and a concrete step toward putting the principle of “people‑centeredness and prioritizing life” into practice. Moving forward, the company will fully leverage the “lead‑goose effect” of its middle‑level managers to drive widespread adoption, ensuring that emergency first‑aid knowledge and hands‑on skills are comprehensively extended to all frontline personnel. The goal is to make “everyone understands first aid, everyone can administer it, and everyone dares to take responsibility” the standard professional norm for the Zhong’an team, thereby eliminating the capability gaps—“not knowing how to rescue, not daring to rescue, and not being able to rescue”—that have long plagued frontline teams. This will fortify the safety baseline for on‑the‑job duties and elevate the team’s professionalism in emergency response.

Looking ahead, Yunnan Zhong’an Security will remain committed to its original mission of upholding Party leadership, prioritizing military‑entrepreneurial innovation, embracing goodness as its guiding principle, and serving the people. With more professional services, stronger capabilities, and a warmer sense of responsibility, we will deepen our efforts in urban security, safeguard the peace of countless households, and spread humanitarian compassion. We will continue to fulfill our corporate social responsibility through concrete actions, contributing an unceasing stream of Zhong’an strength to protect the lives and property of the people and to ensure the harmonious and stable development of society.
